Since 2020, I have worked with small independent UK brands to make their sites and content more compelling.

I use my experience as a health journalist to produce copy that is clear and easy to engage with, and to bring projects in to deadline successfully.

NASGP DIGEST (2020-22)

Challenge NASGP didn't have a regular opportunity to engage members and wanted to develop a way to support their unique needs as GP locums.

Solution Together with a UX designer, James Walker, we developed and tested versions of a weekly 'digest' of news content in 2020.

Result Open rates for the digest now average over 50% and click rates over 13%. We continue to test calls to action to get to know our audience better.

WISTON ESTATE (2021)

Challenge The Wiston family were looking for a writer who could convey its values to new audiences. Our attempt to address this challenge was to distill essential messaging into succinct site copy.

Solution In 2021 I worked with Arkyard to support the Wiston Estate's site relaunch. Working directly with a UX designer and the family itself, I developed copy that aligned closely to values.

Result The new site launched in full and to deadline, featuring the voices of key stakeholders on the Wiston Estate.
